The Simulation Interoperability Standards Organization (SISO) is dedicated to the advancement of simulation interoperability within the military and commercial industry.

The Defense Modeling and Simulation Office (DMSO) is the catalyst organization for Department of Defense (DoD) modeling and simulation (M&S) and ensures that M&S technology development is consistent with other related initiatives.

The DMSO Modeling and Simulation Resource Repository (MSRR), comprised of seven nodes, provides simultaneous retrieval of Modeling and Simulation resources. Providers include, DMSO, Army, Navy, Air Force, Missile Defense Agency, DIA, and C4ISR Decision Support Center Information System. Sponsored by DMSO, and operated by the Modeling and Simulation Information Analysis Center (MSIAC), the resources can be sorted and delivered electronically as specified by the user. Resources can include, but are not limited to, models, simulations, tools, utilities, documents, data sources, and databases.
